When I bought my S&W Shield 9mm I ordered a paddle holster which was just about as simple and perfect as could be. But then I installed a CT LG-489G green laser on the gun. I went back to the manufacturer of my original holster for the updated paddle holster. It was terrible. The paddle was completely different, was difficult to put into my waist band, was almost impossible to slide from the 3 o’clock to 4 o’clock position, and stuck out from my hip too much. I returned it and ordered from another major brand. It was even worse. It was very hard to insert and hung up on my shirt so badly I couldn’t slide it around. I returned it (incidentally I couldn’t get my money back but had to accept store credit).
Then I found Just Holster It. This holster is as perfect as it gets. It’s easy to insert, I can slide it around easily, it hugs my body closely, and has great positive retention. After my previous experiences, which happened over a period of weeks, I’m thrilled and will be a forever customer.

There are limited options on line and in local stores for holsters and mag carriers for the Springfield XD9. I went to the JHI store and was pleasantly surprised, they had six different types in stock, both leather and kydex. They did not have exactly what I was looking for but they put one together for me in about five minutes. Their mag holder fit perfectly and I was on the range 2 hours later trying them out and I am very happy with them. Do yourself a favor, if you are local stop in and check out their store, they have a huge selection of belts and holsters, concealed carry jackets and vests, gun care products, and a concealed carry class for new gun owners. They have some awesome cowboy holsters too.
